Neuro-Ophthalmology

We focus our research on neuro-visual pathway disorders and favor using the eye and optic nerve as a simplified model for brain disease to pursue prognosis and treatment strategies for a variety of neurological disorders.

Ongoing investigations include ocular myasthenia gravis, using optical coherence tomography as a diagnostic adjunct in neurological disease, and using functional MRI in eye movement disorders. (David Kaufman, D.O.) (Sunita Yedavally, D.O.)
