main Biography Biography: I have joined the Michigan State University Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology as a part-time faculty member as of January 2000. I am an alumnus of MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and also did my pre-residency neuro-ophthalmology fellowship here with Dr. David Kaufman. I am an ophthalmologist trained by the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Consortium.I completed my training with post-residency fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and in vitreo-retinal disease at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit.I was in private practice for 7 years in Southwest Florida doing both neuro-ophthalmology and retina prior to joining the Department of N&O. I practice Neuro-Ophthalmology with MSU and Medical Retina with Associate Retinal Consultants in Ypsilanti, Livonia and Royal Oak. I am interested in clinical research in the areas of optic nerve disease and vitreoretinal disease.
