Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?

Sparrow Hospital-MSU Neurolog was my number one choice prior to my audition rotation; after working with Dr. Kaufman, Dr. Ward, Dr. Francis, and Dr. Burghardt, it was the only choice. Each faculty member and resident with whom I interacted was kind, supportive, and engaging. That is something you would hear during every residency interview… But it’s true. And after a couple months into my residency, I can confirm that it’s as good as it appeared. I do not know how the selection committee did it, but our resident class became friends almost immediately and we now spend most of our free time together. I am very excited for these next four years.

If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as a career?
