MSU's Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology Michelle Kvalsund, D.O.

Dr. Kvalsund is the principal investigator for the Research on Assessment of Vitamin B12 and Evaluation of Neurological Symptoms (RAVENS) Study: The RAVENS study is an ongoing community based research project that is evaluating the role of micronutrient deficiencies in HIV+ and HIV- patients with peripheral neuropathy.
Michelle Kvalsund, D.O. Assistant Professor within MSU’s Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology, at Bauleni Health Centre in Lusaka, Zambia and HIV Counselor & Research Assistant, Martin Simunyama, with an electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction study machine donated by Michigan State University and Sparrow Health Systems
