Dr. Kvalsund receives the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine Foundation for Research & Education Development Grant

The AANEM Award will allow Dr. Kvalsund to identify the most common causes of acute flaccid paralysis and improve clinical care and resource allocations for these disabling conditions in Zambia. In addition, the foundational data collected will inform future research that can lead to scientific advancements that benefit both local and international communities.
