After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Nagia completed a residency in Ophthalmology and two fellowships in Medical Retina and Neuro-Ophthalmology.  Dr. Nagia is board certified in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Nagia joined the Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology at Michigan State University in December 2016.  Her clinical practice is focused on neuro-ophthalmic disorders including ischemic optic neuropathy, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, cranial neuropathies and botulinum toxin injections. She focuses her research interests on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging of the optic nerve head and surrounding retina in neuro-ophthalmic conditions, mainly ischemic optic neuropathy. Dr. Nagia also directs the Neuro-Ophthalmology research and fellowship programs.
