Dr. Kvalsund is the principal investigator for the Research on Assessment of Vitamin B12 and Evaluation of Neurological Symptoms (RAVENS) Study: The RAVENS study is an ongoing community based research project that is evaluating the role of micronutrient deficiencies in HIV+ and HIV- patients with peripheral neuropathy at five government health clinics in Lusaka and Chongwe Districts.
