Biography
Biography:

I completed my medical school training in Kansas City, MO.  I'm Persian-American and speak fluently in Farsi.  I love to dance and joined many pre-professional hip-hop dance groups in Michigan.  I also love to travel, my favorite place traveled being Italy.  I couples matched with my husband and currently live in Howell, Michigan, and we are proud owners of our toy-sized Yorkie named Nikoo!

Hometown:

Kalamazoo, MI

Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?

I loved my experience at Sparrow Hospital when rotating here.  There was a wide diversity of cases, and so much opportunity for growth.  Sparrow Hospital's Neurology Program also offers research opportunities that other programs do not.  Location was also a big factor in my decision!  I was born in Kalamazoo, MI and wanted to be close to home.

If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as your career?

Professional dancer!
