Biography
Biography:

I was born and raised in a suburb on the southwest side of Chicago (Evergreen Park, IL).  I am a triplet (1 sister and 1 brother), and I also have a younger sister.  Both of my sisters are in healthcare, too – a nurse and a physical therapist.  Growing up, I was always playing sports, and in high-school I was a year-round swimmer. I attended undergrad at DePaul University in Chicago where I studied biology and psychology. During that time, I was involved in traumatic brain injury research. After graduating, I worked as a lab technician at Northwestern University’s Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center, where I developed an interest in patient care and research for neurological conditions. I went on to medical school at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and I am excited to continue my training in neurology at Michigan State University.

Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?

If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as a career?

High-school science teacher.
