main Biography Biography: I was born and raised in a suburb on the southwest side of Chicago (Evergreen Park, IL). I am a triplet (1 sister and 1 brother), and I also have a younger sister. Both of my sisters are in healthcare, too – a nurse and a physical therapist. Growing up, I was always playing sports, and in high-school I was a year-round swimmer. I attended undergrad at DePaul University in Chicago where I studied biology and psychology. During that time, I was involved in traumatic brain injury research. After graduating, I worked as a lab technician at Northwestern University’s Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center, where I developed an interest in patient care and research for neurological conditions. I went on to medical school at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and I am excited to continue my training in neurology at Michigan State University.Hometown:Evergreen Park, ILWhy did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?I completed a 1 month neurology rotation at Michigan State University during my fourth year as a medical student.
