main Biography Biography: I was born and raised on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio in a family that bleeds Spartan green and white. I attended the University of Notre Dame for my undergraduate degree, majoring in biology and French, while meeting my now husband along the way. My first year following college I lived in Paris, France where I completed a Master's thesis on the portrayal of physicians in contemporary French cinema (and ate a lot of really good food in the process!). Ready to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor, I returned to the States to study osteopathic medicine at Michigan State University. Hometown:Cleveland, OHWhy did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?I was familiar with many of the attendings from my time as a MSUCOM student. Their passion for teaching and excitement about neurology were inspiring. When I auditioned at Sparrow, I found it to be an extremely welcoming environment. I also recognized that the diversity of patients and pathologies I would see at Sparrow would lead me to become a confident neurologist.
