Biography: 

I'm the youngest person in my family, and my father has wanted me to be a doctor since I was 4 years old.  I received high grades in high school that allowed me to enter medical school, and I spent 7 years in medical school.  I was one of the lucky people who got a scholarship sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education in Libya to finish my post-graduate training.

Hometown:

Libya - Zliten.  I was born in a small city in Libya called Zliten (East of Tripoli).  

Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?

My dream to be an epileptologist; nice and friendly environment; Arab & Muslim communities here in Michigan. 

If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as a career?

Teacher.

Extracurricular interests and activities:

Soccer, swimming, reading, and traveling.
