Dr. Zendler is a board certified opthalmologist and has been in practice for over 26 years. He practices at Valley Eye Consultants in Flint, Michigan where he focuses on comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract/IOL.  Dr. Zendler has been the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at Genesys Regional Medical Center for 25 years. Dr. Zendler received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center and a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Michigan State University. Dr. Zendler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology at Michigan State University.

Dr. Karen Luparello is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismologist specializing in the detection and treatment of children's eye diseases, including retinopathy of prematurity, tearing problems, kids with crossed eyes and adults with eye muscle problems. Dr. Luparello uses her special talents to make children feel comfortable while getting the information she needs to make a complete diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Luparello performs her surgery at Hillsdale Community Health Center where she uses the state-of-the-art equipment to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Luparello received her fellowship training at Michigan State University.

Dr. Gossage is a board and laser certified ophthalmologist who is committed to serving the Hillsdale county area with comprehensive eye care. At Hillsdale Community Health Center, Dr. Gossage provides his patients the state-of- the-art procedures and care for your eyes. Dr. Gossage's specialty covers a wide range of eye care from healthy eye exams for contacts and glasses to the latest in cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK). With the addition of the Frank Beck Ophthalmology Suite, Dr. Gossage can perform our patient, no stitch, no shot, no pain, cataract and laser eye surgery. Dr. Gossage also screens and treats patients with the latest in laser and surgery for diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and eyelid problems including skin cancers. Dr. Gossage is also an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Michigan State University where he teaches other doctors of his knowledge.

Dr. Rubin began practicing in 1977 and provides patients with general ophthalmology services, with a sub-specialty in glaucoma & retina conditions. He is a member of the Patrick G. Murrray Eye Center which offers comprehensive ophthalmology services including cataract surgery, medical and surgical glaucoma care, medical and surgical diabetic care, and eyelid surgery. Included in the staff of ophthalmologists are a fellowship trained glaucomatologist and retinologist. A full service optical dispensory is available for patients.

Dr. Simonian entered into the practice of ophthalmology in 1981 and provides comprehensive ophthalmologic services including, cataract surgery, laser surgery, medical and surgical glaucoma care, medical and surgical diabetic care, and eyelid surgery. Dr. Simonian offers emergency eye care. A full service contact lens deparment and optical shop are available. She is an ophthalmology residency program director affiliated with the Patrick Murray Eye Center.

Michael L. Keil, D.O., FAOCO

A resident of Grand Rapids, MI, Dr. Keil is Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology. He has been involved in Lasik surgery since 1999 and was the Medical Director and Lasik Surgeon at the Grand Rapids LasikPlus, which opened in 2006. He liked it so much that in 2009 he bought the center. He has had a long and highly successful career as a Lasik surgeon and has performed well over 6,000 surgeries. He is ranked as one of Michigan’s most experienced. Professionals such as firefighters, military personnel, doctors and media personalities have sought out Dr. Keil to perform their Lasik procedure. Dr. Keil and his wife have both had laser vision correction done on their eyes. He says the procedure has greatly helped him do the things he loves, such as sailing, skiing, and swimming.

Dr. Michael Keil has a strong dedication to teaching and is the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at Metro Health Hospital where he is an active medical staff member. At Metro he is part of Metro Health Village Ophthalmology. A teaching and research group that provides full vision care services. He is responsible for teaching medical students, interns, and residents. He also holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University.

Dr. Ralph Crew has been an ophthalmologist for 15 years. He received his medical education at Ohio University. After an internship in Detroit, he spent 4 years as a general practitioner prior to entering an ophthalmology residency in Columbus, Ohio at Doctor's Hospital. He completed his education with an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the University of Michigan. He is a member of such professional organizations as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Michigan Ophthalmologic Society. Dr. Crew received his board certification in 1992. Actively involved in overseas medical missions, he has made many trips to third world countries where he performs eye surgery.

Dr. Price is a board certified ophthalmologist since 1989. She specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma plastic surgery and diabetic education. Dr. Price earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an ophthalmology residency in the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Residency program. Dr. Price is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology at Michigan State University.
