BS in Neuroscience, Brigham Young University, Utah, 2003.

Graduate Education and Medical School:

Des Moines University, 2007.

Post Graduate Education, Internship, and other training:

  • Intern, Michigan State University/Sparrow Health Systems, 2007-2008.
  • Resident, Michigan State University/Sparrow Health Systems Neurology Residency, 2008 - Present.

Fellowship interests/Special neurology interest:

Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis.

Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?

I chose MSU Neurology because it has the whole package, the people, organization and clinical expertise.  The attendings and faculty bring a diverse set of expertise to the table.  There is a high level of camaraderie among the residents.  MSU Neurology is a great fit for me. 

If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as a career?

A Novelist.

Extracurricular interests and activities:

Running, Cooking, Reading, Time with family, Woodworking.
