Why did you choose to become part of Michigan State University Neurology?
The program at Michigan State University and Sparrow Hospital offered the best of both worlds with a Big-Ten University Environment combined with a well established teaching hospital in a small urban setting. In my opinion, the residency seems to attract well-rounded individuals who work well with one another during the trying time of attempting to master the very complex field of neurology.
If you were not a doctor, what would you have chosen as a career?
Firefighter.
